The dual view (nadir and an\noblique ~55 degree view) supports improved atmospheric correction over\nsingle-view predecessor instruments. Coverage is global, with a combined\nrevisit of about 2 days across the Sentinel-3 constellation. Intended for\nsurface-temperature monitoring and active-fire detection; note that FRP\nitems only exist where a fire was actually detected in that scene, so\nsparse coverage in a region is expected, not missing data.
